TAVIA LOST GALLANTLY TO MARON 3-5

The tussle for Lagos polo Mini Tournament Captain's Cup came to a dramatic end yesterday as Tavia lost gallantly to the Maron team.

Lack of team work on the part of Tavia team led to their defeat. This was clearly noticed by spectators who gave their support to Tavia. It was a match Tavia could have possibly won if they had coordinated themselves from the beginning of the Match.

They were not coordinated and lost touch with the tempo of the match during the first, second and the third chukkers. They came back from behind but couldn't level the scoreline at the end of the fifth and the final chukker.

So far, the match was rated tough and uneasy win for Maron.
